i’m going to keep all of the enthralling rowing-related natter on its own little page ‘cos it bores me to death sometimes, too, and it just wouldn’t be fair to inflict it on unsuspecting browsers!
for those of you who don’t know, i’ve been a member of the university of kent rowing club (ukcrc) is starting uni last year, and since then i’ve learnt to row, found that i just aint tall enough for it, and am now coxing, whilst also working tirelessly in a search for fun and frolics in the form of social sec.! as a result i’ve now started suffering from stress, thus i calm myself down by shouting at sweaty boys, telling them to row harder and faster! make me wet!

(30/09/06) Cameron capsizes. bravely gets back in the boat, only to capsize again. kat, being the unfortunate soul that she is, then gets in cameron’s cursed vessel, only to….. capsize! antonia…. you guessed it, capsized, also! this club is better than it sounds, honest. although, mike is refusing to give out certificates for capsizions this year, on account of it cost him too much money in ink last year, so maybe we just aint that good after all… 
(17/09/06) Boston marathon! we were pretty darned good! (see below) … the youth hostel was in the middle of, quite literally, nowhere! i was so scared. we travelled for an hour, passing through woods and moors, with mist creeping up around the windows, and then we came to woody’s top. we entered, and were surrounded by enormous spiders, or in poor lara’s case, pubic hair! thank the lord for sylvain!
